The hotel, however, doesn’t just house the living- in fact, staff claim that every single room in the B&B contains a spirit- That’s 11 rooms in all, each with their own uninvited guest.
In 1916, a young girl named Dorothy Dunn and her friends were playing in a dredge pond near a local creek when the three of them stepped off a shelf in the water and were plunged into the depths.
With a hotel with as bloody history as the Bigelow, It’s not surprising that the building is reportedly very, very haunted.

The entire town of Cripple Creek is said to be haunted to this day. We’ve only touched on two of the hauntings in this very active town full of spirits, both ghostly and drinkable.
